Local ads and notices crowd Elgin shops and mills
A jumble of local business promotions for Capper & Shaffer and Knudtson & Halverson offer clothing, undergarments, millinery, shoes, and flour while J Lehman & Son promote lumber and home building. The piece notes a canning factory pumpkin run, a hotel supper, a lecture by Douglas Deremore, and public events in Elgin with references to area names and dates.
