The Noggle Lynne Michelle Paul and Jacque Campbell families from Marion and Jackie joined celebrations. Nearby guests included Grace Light Myrtle Learn and several others at family gatherings and visits with Tillie Johnson.

Clermont Legion and Auxiliary hosted the County Meeting on September 27 at the Legion Hall. County Commander Dary A Wells opened, James Anderson presented songs by Norris Reierson and others. District leaders from Ockwein Postville and others attended. several units reported goals reached and a joint course proposal. Hostesses were Mrs Olson, Appelman, Cline and Meier.

Tre Ore Jr Study Club met Monday evening October 3 at Mrs. Roger Amundson home with Mrs. Rowland Huckmann as hostess. Seventeen members answered roll call with travel plans for October 12 to the Billy Clocks and Decota arena. A bracelet sale for CARE New Horizons in the Philippines was approved to raise funds for tools and small machines for club use. The American Lutheran Church Women of West Clermont Lutheran Church met on October 5. The nominating committee proposed officers including LaVern Swenson as president and Aruthur Amundson as vice president. A Fall Supper was set for November 10 with last year’s menu. Hostesses from Mary Circle assisted, with several members listed.

Mr Norman Amundson of Postville and Pastor Roger Peterson of Clermont will attend the Third General Convention of The American Lutheran Church in Minneapolis in October 1925 as official delegates. They join about 500 lay and 500 pastoral delegates from more than 5,000 congregations across the United States and Canada. The gathering, called to order at Central Lutheran Church by Dr Fredrik Schiotz, will address missionary work in 12 foreign countries and 14 US and Canadian colleges. A key item is approval of a capital funds drive for the churchs colleges and seminaries.
