Merle Malon Klingman born January 21, 1897 at Highland Clayton county died October 1, 1928 in West Union at age 31. She taught at Center school near Elgin, married Clarence M. Hong June 8, 1920, and lived on the Hong farm. Survived by husband, parents, three brothers and a sister with many relatives. Active in church and community life, her death mourned by family and friends.
We express sincere thanks for sympathy and kindnesses and for floral offerings in our time of sorrow. Clarence and Olaf Hoag, Mr and Mrs Ed Klingman and Family. Berg provides good service for cleaning and pressing. Mr and Mrs Karl Miller and their daughter visited Sunday at the August Winkelman home in Buffalo Center.
