Long Time Farm Ties Rooted in Jackson Family History
Waverly area resident W. I. Jackson has lived on the same Tama County farm for 71 years, a property tracing back to 1853 when bought from the U S government for 1 25 an acre. Nearby, a wheel detach incident caused damage as Lester Fulton avoided a collision with a wheel from Stanley Stevens car. In Audubon, a sleepy driver left in Schultz’s driveway was later found by Sheriff Imensen and Deputy McLaughlin resting in a Crawford county man’s barn after celebrating too much.
