Exaiy Iowa October 4 1897 council met in regular session called by Mayor Mattoon. Present were Mattoon Nicklaus Grahani Brlich Sehmid. Minutes approved. Bills listed including L Ainsworth printing and lamp work. Finance committee approved, paid by vote of Mattoon Ehrlich Schmid Graham Nicklaus. Reports of sidewalk and ordinance committees due in 30 days. Recorder instructed to print sidewalk notices with stubs. Motion unanimously carried to adjourn.
