Fourth and fifth graders opened with a 13 to 12 victory after a back and forth drive. Lloyd Capper caught a Burton Wolf pass for 30 yards on the 30 yard line, Charles Becker scored twice, and Wolf to Capper connected for the late winning point as Becker broke through the line for a TD. The team later beat Arlington 7 to 6, with Elgin scoring first but Arlington missing the extra point. Wadena defeated Clermont on our field.
