Graham suffered a scalp wound requiring ten plus stitches and scrapes. Campbell had a strained back but was not seriously hurt. The Ford driver and companions escaped injury. both vehicles were damaged. Graham reportedly did not see the Ford until too late and tried to cross ahead of it. Fayette Leader.
The Country Club will close the 1936 golf season with a picnic at the clubhouse Friday evening as championship trophies are awarded. Elbert Estey, 18, wins the championship after a strong season including a state runner-up finish. D. Fallows is runner-up. Estey will leave soon to resume studies as a sophomore at the State University of Iowa City.
