Record Run By Eight Cunning Company Breaks All Limits
This year the Eight Cunning Company set new output records with 95 carloads and about 2.3 million egos packed in 4100 acres, yielding 3000 tons and $33,000 to farmers. The season lasted just twenty days due to extreme heat, yet nearly all corn was delivered, with daily runs reaching 146,000 cases in under 16 hours. Approximately 170 workers, 30 tons of sugar, 10 tons of salt, and vast quantities of cans and packing materials supported the effort, and most output is sold with orders taken for future delivery.
