Crop Rotation Kills Many Insect Pests
The article explains how crop rotation reduces insect injury by disrupting wintering and food sources. Rotating crops helps fewer insects find food, while staying with the same crop increases damage each year.

The dairy cow's most needed minerals are calcium phosphorus and common salt. Legume days on lime-sufficient soils usually supply calcium. Phosphorus can come from the drain ration containing up to 20 percent phosphorus rich foods like wheat bran or cottonseed meal. Salt should be provided at one pound per 100 pounds of grain mix and animals should have free access to it in pasture or exercise yard.
