Mary Peters who works at West Union spent Sunday with her parents Chas Peters. Jim Slaughter, recently ill at the county farm, died Saturday November 20. His remains were brought here Saturday evening. services were at Baptist church led by Rev E J Starr of Elgin Sunday afternoon. Mr and Mrs Amos Craft returned to Sioux City Monday after visiting relatives here. Ladies Aid Society practicing for a program at Baptist church soon. Louisa Burk of West Union visited Sunday at George Tripp home.
