Evening A L C W Meeting at Elgin Lutheran
The Elgin Lutheran ALCW held its evening meeting on Thursday Nov 17 in the fellowship hall. Hostesses were Mrs Don Fauser and Mrs Don Sutter. Eleven attendees plus one guest Ms Mildred Fjelstul. Activities included devotions on I Corinthians 10:17 32 led by Mrs Eugene Lehman lessons on The God Who Unites and a discussion on Communion. Advent season explained by Mrs Ivan Torkelson and study on Christian Scientists by Mrs Wm Moore. An offering and inspirational item packing for a Christmas basket were planned for the December 15 meeting. Continuous singing and prayers closed the session.
