Elgin area notices mix shop ads and events
Local ads promote Capper & Shaffer goods and spectacles at Finke's Drug Store, a Davenport Mills agency, and Capper & Shaffer hosting coat sales. A school board meeting, sick residents, and a parade of small-town notices follow. Shooting matches near Elgin and barbecued hogs entice Sunday attendees with a free dinner and pork.
