Cheery Valley Neighbors Club Meets At Butikofer Home
Cheery Valley Good Neighbors Club met at the home of Harry Butikofer in November. Twenty four members answered roll call with a thought for the day and hymn. Two guests attended Elkport residents Mrs. Dennler and Mrs. Showalter. Members planned Christmas cookies or gifts and coffee strips for December, with Mrs Celia Thoman coordinating. Contests favored Mrs. Sam Dennler and Mrs. Mary Showalter. Door prizes went to Mrs. Louis Butikofer, Mrs. Fred Butikofer, and Robert Leuchtenmacher.
