Local residents and relatives from Mt Vernon Volga Waterloo and Randalia gathered at various homes Sunday and over the weekend. Notable visits included Mrs John Ballard and son D B Cottrell in Mt Vernon and Miss Phyllis Dibble returning from New Albia to resume teaching duties. Families from Waucoma Fennimore and Randalia hosted guests in shared social occasions.
Wm Schuette of Manitowoc visited in the Nelson home. Families attended a seventy second birthday party for Henry Whitford in Volga. Many local residents hosted or joined relatives in Clermont township and nearby towns. A Clermont school picnic drew about thirty five attendees. Sunset events included marriages, teacher contracts, and Rainbow lodge installations in West Union and Clermont.
