Weather and social notes from a rural Iowa area
A terse local column records continuing cold weather and sparse news. It lists visitors and social calls among residents near Wadena and Oelwein, a funeral in Stanley, Iowa, and a fatality tied to A. M. Duff’s township assessor duties. Drugstore claims promote Dr. King’s New Discovery with testimonials from New York.
