Norwegians in Fayette County Face Representation Gap
A local letter questions why Fayette County Norwegians, a prosperous and capable group, have rarely held party nominations. It notes Gundersol’s past county supervisor win as an exception and urges the Republican party to nominate a Norwegian for county treasurer. The piece links representation to fairness and party unity and discusses intra-county factional tensions and potential candidate moves.
