Loftsgard and Osage visitors gather in Gunder
Mr and Mrs Theo Loftsgard and Marion visited the Ole Amundson home Sunday afternoon. Mrs Mollie Mark returned home after eight weeks in hospital with a broken hip. She stays with her daughter Mrs Emory Landsgard. Afternoon callers in the Landsgard home included the Enoch Mork family of Postville and Mr and Mrs Robert Mork of Monona, plus Mr and Mrs George Leuchtenmacher. Robert spent Friday evening at the Selmer Holme home. Mrs Matilda Christianson and Charles visited Clinton Tuesday to stay with Burnell Larsen. Sunday afternoon callers at Mrs Matilda Christianson’s home were Mr and Mrs Louis Martie, Mrs Theolena Nelson, and the George Anhorn family of Osage. Mr and Mrs Selmer Holmen entertained Sunday dinner for Andrew Reinhart and Helen, Mrs Victor Guyer, and Mrs Duane Anderson and family were Wednesday afternoon callers at Orven Loftsgard’s home. Mrs Carroll Klingman Jr attended a luncheon at the F C Tinderholt home in Calmar for Mrs Tillie Clark of Vancouver BC.

Good Neighbors Club Meets in Elgin May 13
The Cheery Valley News reports the Good Neighbors Club met Tuesday May 13 in the Methodist church basement Elgin with 23 members answering roll call on a school day memory. Mrs Walter Lantz was a guest and hostesses included Mrs John Christen Mrs Frank Christen and Mrs George Nickels. A bill of 7738 was paid to the sick committee for cards and gifts.

West Union guests visited the Roger Reeder and Glenn Boyer homes Saturday and Tuesday evenings.
