Local Elgin ads and notes amid town throng
A long, mixed-dialect local item lists shops and offerings in Elgin including Corsatt from 1 cent, Mrs Charley Becker, Capper & Shaffer, Muir store, Knudtson & Halverson, Nahig & Rowland, Haug & Rowland, Thomi, and Brudtson & Halverson. It mentions a canning factory shut for a funeral, church and school events, a bank directors meeting, and local weather notes with scattered observations on roads, wood, and a planned laundry facility.
