Local shoppers lure with corsets goods ads and bargains
A cluttered late 19th century town notice lists corsets, clothing, hats, shoes, flour, and hardware discounts at Capper Shaffer Knudtson Halvarson and Schappy stores in Elgin and nearby towns. It notes new millinery, grocer bargains, and a Deering machinery shipment while mixing other local ads and a brief city council update.
