Weekend visits fill Cheery Valley homes across Verona area
Cheery Valley neighbors from Verona and nearby towns spent a weekend with relatives across several homes. Walter Luthi and family joined Jake Appliger’s household in Verona, while Arthur Friederich and Adeline Lehman visited the Butikofer and Pulfer families. Elizabeth Christen stayed with the Christen household near Garnaville, and Mrs. Albert Schupbach traveled to Bay City, Michigan, after her mother’s illness and death. Sympathies were extended as Maebach passed away. Erma Friederich and Betty Christen visited the Walter Butikofer home. The community also saw visits to the Dennler, Dennler, Baumgartner, and Thoman households.
