Members heard about the April 7 WMT radio program featuring Wu Yang of the Lutheran church in China. The program chair announced Kyrin Thy Word Like Gentle Dews Scripture Reading by Mrs Arthur Nelson and others performed a Good Earth lesson, a duet God Will Take Care of You, and birthday offerings by several members. The meeting closed with a hymn the Lord s Prayer and the Doxology.

The Odako Camp Fire Girls held a council fire Friday with Kay Accola as hostess, though illness moved the event to Elaine Tatro’s home. They toured churches, performed at school, sang at West Clermont church, contributed a penny per year of age for the national fund, mailed a toys box to Ottumwa Children’s Home, and held a regular meeting Monday at Elsie Jerdee’s home. Ann Larson invited the group to a dinner on Saturday, April 3.

Plans for the annual day in Women s Extension Work in Fayette county mark the 25th anniversary. The event on March 31 at the U S A gym begins 10 30 a m with Geral dine Brainard Elliott as morning speaker and Thelma Veiles Jensen present. A skit will cover 25 years of work followed by a noon pot luck at the M E church. A nursery will be provided for preschoolers for 26 cents.
