Fayette County Democrat Chairman Steve Story says McCarthy and Kennedy candidacies may lift caucus turnout. One hundred sixty one delegates and as many alternates will be chosen at 28 precinct sites for the County Convention on Friday evening April 19 in West Union at the Courthouse. Caucuses are Monday night March 25. The county convention will be open and fair consideration given to any contest for delegation support. Precinct committeemen and committeewomen will be elected. caucus begins at 2:00 pm with no cred before 8:30 pm.
