The Area One Vocational Technical School District board met in special session at South Winneshiek High School to open bids for the shop building. Fourteen bidders for general construction, Nelson Construction of Caledonia Minnesota low bid at 3,854,770 including alternates. two plumbing and mechanical bids, Vicks Plumbing and Heating of Decorah low at 235,800. three electrical bids, Brown Electric of Decorah low at 85,739. Board to study bids and plans to award within 10 days.
