A Boston rooming house resident born and raised in Waucoma, about 30, was found dead with a bullet to the head. A note told police to notify his wife, but records show the person named was actually his mother. He had taught in Clermont and Maloy after graduating from the University of Iowa and had recently told his mother he felt like a failure.
