Cheery Valley New Neighbor Club Meeting Notes
The No Good Neighbor Club met June 13 at Mrs Wenger's with co hostess Mrs ter Lantz. Eighteen members attended with guests Mrs Andrew Ker and Mrs David Lantz. Plans for a picnic at Elka recreation park on July 2 were discussed. A reading, scripture, and prayers were led by Mrs Wilbur Peake and a Flag Day topic by Mrs Harry Butikofer. Prizes were won by Mrs David Lantz and Mrs Silas Butikofer. Numerous social visits and dinners followed at several homes, including the Christen and Butikofer families, with a 15th wedding anniversary noted for the Ben Butikofer couple.
