Washington Ancestry Traced Back to Richard III Era

His grandfather Lawrence Washington was born in Virginia and great grandfather John Washington emigrated from England in 1657 to Virginia. John Washington was a son of Lawrence Washington, rector of Purleigh England, with ancestors including Lawrence Washington of Sulgrave Brington and an early Washington who served Prince Charles.
