Something for the farmer to consider
It is estimated that 30,000,000 pounds of quality Qairy butter are in storage and prices are at 25 year lows. The Cairpmen's League Cooperative Association argues a five week plan where six million American farm families use one extra pound per week could eliminate the surplus. Farmers themselves share blame as many buy butter substitutes lacking vitamins, despite choosing them over real dairy products. The solution, the association says, lies largely at the farm dinner table.
