Clermont Dedication Aids Rail Transport For Monument Event
For the dedication of the Soldier's Monument and Col Henderson status at Clermont on June 10, the C RI P will place coaches on No 641 at Clermont until 7 p.m. Trains will return the people to the south with the West Union passenger train leaving Clermont about 7 p.m. Open fare plus one third for round trip. This arrangement aims to ensure strong attendance from Elgin at the defection exercises.
