Oldest Man Claim From Dennis Richard Of Emmetsburg
The Emmetsburg Democrat reports Dennis Richard of Emmetsburg may be the oldest man in the United States at 111 in March. Born in Howth’s Read, county Dublin, Ireland, he sailed forty years before joining Ulinoig in the United States, once worked for Abraham Lincoln and even quarreled over wages. A temperate man who never married, he walks daily, shaves himself, and notes improving eyesight and a second hair growth. He rarely uses tobacco and drinks brandy sparingly, with no physician ever attending him.
