Double Funeral Held Here Sunday Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna E Buckdasher and Mrs. Rosa Jacob s were held at the Elgin Baptist church Sunday afternoon at the same time an unusual circumstance. Both died on Thursday June 8 and shared the same birthday January 18. Buckdasher was 82 and Jacob s 88.

Born January 18 1862 in Frankfurt Germany she moved to Aurora Illinois then Sumner before farming near Elgin. Married Nicklaus Ruckdashel October 1 1888. Survived by son Alfred three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services at Elgin Baptist Church conducted by Rev Paul F Zoschke burial in Union Evangelical cemetery.

Survived by sister Mary Matthys and brother John Sutter. Service led by Rev Paul F Zoschke with pallbearers Edwin Otto Krueger Carl Hackmann Tofield Heck Alfred.
