Zebe Larson of Marshalltown has two games to date with one win and one loss. In his first start he delivered the winning run with a stout hit. Radtke of Luther is now a Marshalltown recruit.

Mrs. Arthur Moon born October 18 1906 in Marion township Clayton Iowa. She was baptized at Marion Lutheran and later confirmed at Norway Lutheran May 29 1921. She married Arthur Moon September 28 1927 and lived on the Moon farm near Monona until death. She died June 10 at Cresco hospital after surgery for a dermoid tumor and peritonitis. Survived by husband, parents, three sisters, three brothers, grandparents and many relatives. Funeral services were held in Monona with interment at the city cemetery. Card of Thanks from Moon Houg families expresses gratitude for sympathy and flowers.
A study of 200 dairy bulls with five or more daughters compares their daughters’ yearly milk and butterfat records to those of the dams. Bull performance varies with herd butterfat levels, with higher averages generally leading to greater gains and some declines. Geo. N. Schori reports eighteen ewes produced 36 lambs this year and raised 83 percent of them, with earliest lambs born March 8 now near 75 pounds. Dutch Lammers and Charles Whitney head to Kentucky for road work after teaching stint and plan visits in the East.
