Families including Mittelstadt, Butikofer, Hanson, Dennler, Schreiner, Christen, Minihan, and others visited relatives in Ben Dennier, Fred Dennler, and Martin Hanson homes, with some extended stays and Bible school attendance noted.
Oak Grove News lists visits and social gatherings across Randalia and nearby towns. Families including Strong, Howard, Leuchtenmacher, Thoman, Schneider, Gilson, Allen, Helms, Bente, and others are noted as hosting or attending events such as Sunday visits, supper guests, and a bridal shower honoring Pearl Davis in the area during a recent week.

Mr and Mrs Alton Staff were guests Sunday evening in the Willard Martin home. Visitors in Mrs Julia Landsgaard's home last week included many named friends and relatives. Lavanda Olson closed her school Friday with a program and picnic.
Mrs. L S Hutchinson and Leo visited Calmar relatives on Sunday. Enoch Mork from Postville spent Tuesday here with his mother Mrs K E Mork. Mrs Hans Winkler of West Union stayed Wednesday night with the Thos Howard family. Mrs C J Anderson and Bessie of St Olaf called on Mrs K E Mark Monday. Mr and Mrs Chas Klocke of Waukon were guests of Reuben Howard Tuesday evening. N W Evans and daughter Mrs Arthur Lantz were in New Hampton Tuesday morning. Legion Auxiliary meeting postponed to Thursday evening June 26. hostesses and place to be announced next week. Mr and Mrs Fleet Frieden went to Hawkeye Saturday evening.
Mr and Mrs H F Robbins hosted visitors through Sunday. Hugh Conner and family from Rochester Minnesota joined relatives in Elgin area from Saturday to Monday. Dwight Gruver, son of Mr and Mrs Wm Gruver, was taken to the University Hospital at Iowa City for a health check-up Sunday and returned home yesterday.
