Clermont area graduates from the 1949 class take jobs in Decorah and Postville, enroll in beauty school at Waterloo, head to Kensett and Zion for farm work, and plan college in fall. St Peters church dinner festival set for June 26
Plans are under way for the annual St. Peter's church dinner and festival in Clermont on June 26. Mrs John Bakewell is chair of the general committee with Mrs Joe Lerch Mrs Lee Havelick Mae Crowe Mrs Harlan Schultz Mrs Joe McNeil and Mrs Clair Smale among the members. The committee met Friday to assign duties for the event.
