Mr. and Mrs Larry Helms hosted Milen Gladys Rowland of West Union Thursday to arrange the coming school year. Mrs D W Clements left Thursday for Delhart Texas to visit her brother Dr Lew Bartlett.

In Elgin Iowa on June 24 1980 the council met in special session chaired by the mayor. Motion to adjourn carried with council members Feller Grather Harrington Phillipe and Sohort voting affirmatively.
