Ben Hofer son of Nick Hofer and Eliza Sutter was born May 7 1887 near Elgin Clayton county and died July 13 1957 at age 70. He married Mollie Reitz in 1908 and after her death in 1918 wed Loretta Imhof in 1927. He is survived by Loretta and six children from the second marriage and two from the first, plus numerous grandchildren and siblings. A card of thanks thanks friends and neighbors for support.
