Phyllis Lubke Weds Marshall Skeen in Honolulu
Mr and Mrs H A Lubke announce the marriage of their daughter Phyllis to Marshall Skeen son of Mrs Donald Keir of Los Angeles California. The ceremony was at First Methodist Church Honolulu T H on Monday June 14 at six o clock in the evening read by Dr Appenzeller. Ann Nichola and Frederick Rodin were attendants. The bride wore a powder blue afternoon dress with navy accessories and a navy hat with powder blue veil and flowers made by Miss Charles at Y Magnin Los Angeles. The couple planned a belated honeymoon and their address is 1180 Alakea Honolulu Hawaii.

The Bth annual Miller family reunion gathered in Clermont city park Sunday July 11 with six attendees. A program featured hymns scripture poem and songs, followed by reports on civil service radio work and military service. Clermont Clover Clovers and Union Sunny Sals 4-H groups met July 6 at Mrs. Sylvan Hoag’s home for a picnic and joint program. Lorraine Follett presided, and activities included songs, a roll call, checks and deposits lesson, posture demonstrations, violin solo, and house cleaning tips. Guests included Mrs. Harry Johnson and others. meeting adjourned after a profitable day.
