Elgin Weary Residents See Visitors and News

Mrs. J I Phillips is ill and confined to bed. W N Norris of Decorah visited Elgin on Thursday. Mrs Eliza Hadd of Fayette spent Sunday with Elgin friends. Mary Baechler returned home after visiting Burlington. Mrs Richard Miller remains ill but improved. Numerous visits span Elgin families, including Torkelsons, Lehman, Kohler, and Kruegers, with travel to Decorah Rochester and Fayette. A new Decorah pool dedication featured speaker Congressman Fred Biermann and WPA director Mr Murray.
