Dam Construction Begins at State Park Project
Last Friday operations started on the dam at the state park between West Union and Brainard. The dam will create an eleven acre lake in the hundred acre scenic area. The work is a FERA project and will employ about 130 men for close to six months. They will work in three shifts. The dam alone will take about five months to complete. Other work will include road building and erection of rest rooms and shelter house.
