Fourth of July Activity and Local Updates in Elgin Iowa
Elgin residents enjoyed a lively Fourth with visits from Mitchel county friends and relatives from Turkey River and Cedar Rapids. Local business and streets see changes as John Falk modernizes the Fair Store and street crews promote oiling to curb dust. Clermont-Elgin split a baseball game 6 to 3, while plans to join West Union in oiling streets progress with 3500 gallons targeted.
