Elgin Busy Fourth Festivities and Local News
Elgin notes a busy summer period with a large Fourth of July crowd, visiting relatives from Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, new autos in town, street oiling plans, a bank addition project, and community concerns about animal care and heat. Local marriages, visitors, and municipal updates round out the social and civic scene.
