Bessie Olson, 83, daughter of Mr and Mrs Asgrim Olson, passed away Sunday January 11 at Larson nursing home east of St Olaf. Funeral services were held Friday at the Marion Rautheran church conducted by Rev S J Strandford.

A program by Miss Spoorendyke and Hickory Hollow pupils is set for January 23 at 8:00 pm at the Volga schoolhouse.

Music Boosters served a pancake supper raising 57.57 amid icy roads. Mary and Andreae Zwanziger performed piano solos as the girls glee club sang. Next meeting set for Feb 11. Missionary Society of Volga Presbyterian met Jan 13 at Ethel Probert home. small attendance led to no program but planning for the year ahead.
