Governor Blue Eyes Third Term Bid Sparks GOP Alignments
Governor Blue’s long anticipated third term bid dominates regional chatter after talks with Lieutenant Governor Evans and Secretary of State Bergeson. The piece notes shifting maneuvers, a Democratic bid saying not a candidate, and a plan to study fuel oil distribution while a House committee braces the 1949 session.
