Farewell notice from Elgin newspaper editors
Last Monday we sold our interest in the Keno and subscription accounts to Mr. B. W. Hoghes of Sabula and retire after six years in Elgin. We credit readers and advertisers for the paper’s success and commend our successor Anghes who, with his wife, will make Elgin their home and continue the paper’s proud tradition.
