Tiger Tales Attend Science Fact Show at Postville High
Sth grade science class toured the Iowa State College traveling exhibit at Postville High. Students sampled milk parlors, sewing and egg grading displays while discussing new ideas in agriculture and family living with specialists. Freshmen shared preferred exhibits and the home speech contest plans were announced for January 21 at Elgin school with two centers and early February preliminaries. Elgin junior high girls beat Arlington 37 16, Dianne Frieden scored 18 and perfect record continues. boys lost 36 23 at Fayette with Bob Kerr leading Elgin.

Maynard dominated the Blue Devil floor last Friday night beating C E Tigers. The Tigers struggled with shooting, making 15 of 67 for 22 percent while Maynard hit 24 of 67 for 44 percent. C E trailed 13-7 after one and 32-14 at halftime, pressing in the final period but the outcome was decided.
