Mrs Nels Reinertson died Thursday December 31 1959 at her daughter’s home in Waterloo aged 85 Funeral services were held January 4 at Oppold Funeral Home with graveside rites at Frame Church Cemetery near Ossian She was born Korena Hausland July 31 1874 in Stavenger Norway and immigrated at age 10 She married Lars Hougland in 1889 and to this union one child Laura survived Lars died in 1893 She later married Nels Reinertson February 24 1895 They farmed near Eldorado then lived in Clermont and finally Waterloo Survivors include four daughters four sons 41 grandchildren 44 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren including Laura Pauline Sophie Clara Norman Paul Lawrence Selmer and others with a sister in Madison Nebraska and other relatives.
