The annual report of Secretary C Kittleson was read at the meeting on Monday January 8 noting steady production over ten years and a year with reduced expenses offsetting lower butter prices. L H Appelman was named president and Martin Amundson vice president with C Kittleson secretary and Farmers Savings Bank treasurer. Approximately 70 patrons attended in Johnsons hall as four new directors joined.

The P. W. B. held its first 1940 meeting at West Clermont Lutheran Church with 34 members and 10 guests. Mrs. G. O. Anderson became president and committees were named for church improvements and various duties. Guests at the Ramsey home included the Olson and Brandt families from Castalia and Cedar Rapids.
