West Union and Clermont area notes mix with Elgin gossip
A compilation from Fayette county papers notes P McDeller moving to Elgin and a sheriff’s deputy appointment, local street numbering efforts, Elgin marriage hoax exposed, a trio of Elgin girls returning home after a slippery ride, Clermont hotel business plans, new firms Haug and Rowland and Schaefera leaving town, and a quilt gift for Rev and Mrs Perry.
