At the Chicago Land Show Canadian goods dominated the western Canada display. Hon Dr Roche secured space to showcase grain and forage with wheat claiming high yields and vegetables proving Canada’s farming strength. Special prizes and banners highlighted wins from Rosthern, Lethbridge, Lloydminster and British Columbia. The centerpiece was McGregor and Bons steer Glencarnock Victor winning the live stock championship, with praise for Brandon Manitoba breeders and a grand reception for Mr. McGregor upon return.
