Bella Creek Community Club met at Mrs Ruth Olson’s home for February. Eight members gave brief quotations from Lincoln or Waskrete, Lois Yearous sketched Abraham Lincoln, Pearl Smith read The Soul of Ann Rutledge, and members presented a china salad bowl to the hostess. Mrs Olson has withdrawn membership due to moving. Guests included Mrs Geo Schaye and Miss Alba Alton.

Dr L H Hutchinson has served Blain for twenty one years as a local dentist. F R Berg plans a store interior refresh with painted walls and a washed ceiling ahead of a birthday party. Berg has occupied his current building for a decade. Frost in poultry houses signals poor ventilation. Arleta Gehring began teaching at Lime Kiln to finish Mrs Jennie Andersons term, bringing several years of prior teaching experience to the post.
