Pioneering Lawyer J Ainsworth’s West Union Family Milestone
Last Sunday the Ainaworth family at West Union marked a dinner with seventeen more relatives than their first gathering forty-one years ago. J Ainsworth, who arrived as a hardship-bound hopeful from York State in 1855, built a law practice here after farming. His clan and home grew through marriages and births, now totaling many generations under one roof.
